나는 바위예요         사이먼과 가펑클 깊고 어둔 12월 어느 겨울날 나는 홀로 창문 밖 아래 갓 내린 눈에 고요히 수의처럼 덮인 거리를 바라보고 있어요 나는 바위예요 나는 섬이에요 나는 성벽을 쌓았어요 아무도 뚫지 못할 깊고 강한 요새를요 내겐 친구가 필요 없어요 우정은 상처만 낳으니까요 난 웃음과 사랑을 경멸해요 나는 바위예요 나는 섬이에요 사랑 얘기는 하지 말아요 사랑이란 단어는 들어봤지만 이젠 기억 속에 잠들어 있어요 죽어 잠든 느낌들을 깨우지 않겠어요 사랑하지 않았다면 울지도 않았겠죠 나는 바위예요 나는 섬이에요 내겐 나를 지켜 줄 책이 있고 시가 있어요 나는 갑옷을 두르고 자궁 속에 안전하게 들어가 방안에 숨어 있어요 난 아무도 건드리지 않고 아무도 날 건드리지 않아요 나는 바위예요 나는 섬이에요 바위는 고통을 느끼지 않고 섬은 절대 울지 않아요
