미국의 전설적인 리스트북, 인생의 짧은 교훈 책
life's little instruction book>을 보았는데 아주 감동적이었다. 
이 책은 저자인 잭슨 브라운Jackson Brown이 자신의 아들에게 들려주는 인생지침서였는데 
저자의 삶에 대한 진지한 자세를 읽을 수 있었다. 
이 책은 미국 내에서만 1,000만 부 이상이 팔리는 베스트셀러가 되었다. 
 
New Yok Times 선정 베스트셀러작가 Jackson Brown(2007년 작고)의 저작으로 
일상사 전반에 걸쳐 사소한 부분까지 조명하며 지혜를 준다.
미처 생각지 못한 섬세한 감각이나 처신법 등 511개의 Tip이 담겨있다.
한마디로 미국판 "생활의 발견"으로 봐도 별 무리가  없을 것 같다.
짧고 쉬운 문장으로 되어 있어 나 같이 영어가 짧은 사람도 부담없이 읽을수 있는 책이다. 
필독을 강추한다.
책 읽을 시간이 없거나 부담스러운 분은 문고본($6.99)을 하나 사서 
화장실에 두고 하루 몇분씩 봐도 좋을성 싶다.

         스페인어를 배워라 , 몇해 안가 
         전체 미국인의 35퍼센트 이상이 상용어로 스페인어를 사용할 것이다. 
145. Keep a flashlight and extra batteries under the bed and in the glove box of your car. 
          플래시와 여분의 전지를 침대 밑과 차의 글로브 박스에 상비하라.
